Arrange electrical installation with a licensed electrician. A ceiling light fitting is not proof that the same position is ready to support a fan.

How do I shortlist a fan for a light sleeper?
Compare the lowest speed and operating noise, then look at timer settings and how the remote works. A quiet motor is only one factor; installation and blade balance matter too. Avoid assuming any model will be completely silent.
Should the fan match my lights or my furniture?
